I bought this book at a thrift store and am eager to read it to my five kids.<BR/>I never comment on blogs, but it in the few minutes I was looking over yours I laughed out loud. I too LOVE History now that I am teaching it to my children. I am saddened at what I missed in my school days as I was busy writing notes in class to my bestfriends. I have to admit that I already got it, even though my children aren't old enough for it yet. I love the conversational tone. And the fact that he wrote it in 6 weeks. Talk about letting go of perfectionism!
