In Their Own Words: George, John, and Abe
Sometimes the best ideas are the simplest. Like these new resources I found at Rob Shearer's blog, Contending With the Culture. Imagine learning about George Washington, John Adams and Abraham Lincoln completely from their own words! Along with some photographs, prints, and artifacts. I can't wait to see these books with my own eyes. In the meantime, look at what Rob has to say about them...

Thanks for putting me back in touch with Rob Shearer. We used his Greenleaf Guides with our kids and loved all of them. Since we've been finished with homeschooling for several years now, I'd lost track of Rob and Cyndy and what they've been up to. Nice to see where the Lord has led him at this point.

Yes, I love their resources as well. I was jazzed when I came across his blog while searching history related blogs a couple of months ago. Leave it to Rob to dig up the good stuff!
